Sports practice planning for coaches.
PracticeAssist helps volunteer coaches, team coaches and multi-team programs turn drill ideas into a session they can run. Choose your team’s sport, age group, ability, equipment and available time, then review and adjust the practice before taking it to the sideline.

From drills to a complete session
- Set the constraints. Pick the sport, players, space, equipment types and duration. Add the skills you want to work on.
- Review the plan. Read each drill’s setup, coaching cues and safety guidance. Replace or reorder activities and adjust time blocks to fit your team.
- Run practice. Use the live timer to pause, extend or advance through the session. Record attendance and reflect on what to change next time.
The planner selects from a structured drill catalog. It does not generate coaching instructions with an AI language model. Equipment quantities and open-ended requests need your own review.
Build around your coaching day
Browse drills by sport and category, save favorites and reuse practice plans. Team rosters, attendance and private coaching notes keep the planning connected to the athletes you coach. Pro adds tools including custom drills, printable PDF plans and season planning; see the Free and Pro comparison.
On the web, coaches can also work with custom diagrams and playbooks. Native editing tools and available workflows can differ by app version. Check platform availability before choosing a device.
Common questions
Can I try it before creating an account?
Yes. The demo uses sample team data. Saving your own team’s work requires an account; paid tools require the appropriate plan.
Is this for one sport?
No. PracticeAssist supports 19 sports with sport-specific categories. Choose the sport for each team.
Are the drills certified coaching advice?
The catalog provides original coaching activities. Coaches should review suitability, space and safety for their athletes; the catalog is not a substitute for qualified supervision.
